Chevron Shawl
This shawl is shaped like a chevron. It is worked from the bottom of the chevron (3 stitches) and a stitch is added at the beginning of each row. When the desired width is reached, the center stitch is bound off and the sides are worked separately. Decreases are made at the neck edge until three stitches remain on each side. It can be worked in any weight of yarn.
Since there is a neck opening, the shawl does not bunch around the neck like most triangular shawls.
