Chevron Lace Cowl
by IndieStarr
This cowl is a replica of one that a friend of mine bought from a well-known UK supermarket. The simple chevron lace stitch was easy to replicate and very effective. After blocking the cowl measured 150cm before the ends were sown together, making it a generous size - big enough to be wrapped twice round or even three times if you want to be really cosy! I haven’t given a gauge because the cowl stretches so much with blocking but the yarn knits to a standard 4ply tension. Only one 100g skein (399 yards) was needed.
