Chevron Arrows
Chapter 8 of the Rainbow Rays.
All throughout the station platform, knitted arrows had been attached to the railings pointing the way to the spectacle outside – The Big Rainbow & The Rainbow Rays.
These arrows were constructed out of three 6” squares that had been sewn together. A plain coloured square, a Mosaic Chevron square (pattern in this chapter) and a flying geese square (You can find the pattern for this in Chapter 7). Stitches were picked up around the three squares and a border of 2 rows of knitting were added before casting off.
Joined together these squares make a great cushion cover too.
