This Cherry Picker’s Mini Picnic Bag has been designed by me using Cotton Aran and DK yarns. Originally designed for a guest designer slot at The Crochet Sanctuary, the bag uses a variety of techniques including basketweave, working in the round, gingham, amigurumi.

Finished bag, excluding trims, handle and flap is approx 26cm (width) x 30cm (height).
Small water bottles and mini bubbly bottles fit inside nicely!

It is written in UK Crochet Terms.

Basic stitches and skills used in this patterns (UK Terms): slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet, multiple stitches in the same stitch, skipping stitches, post stitches).

You will need:
Cotton Aran Yarn in 4 shades (2-3 x 50g, 2 x 50g, 1 x 50g, 1 x 50g)
Cotton DK yarn in 2 shades (small quantity - less than 20g)
4.0mm, 4.5mm & 3.0mm hooks (or to suit tension)
4 x 15mm D rings
1 magnetic clasp
Small amount of stuffing (for cherries)
1 insulated liner approx 26cm wide x 35cm high (if has a handle), 30cm high (with no handle)
Stitch markers
Yarn/tapestry needle
Scissors
