This is a simple mesh-bottom top that gets its interest from a garter panel up the front and short-row shaping, should you desire. Although the sample used one hank of Blue Heron Rayon Metallic in Strawberry and one hank of Henry’s Attic Newport Cotton hand-dyed and held together, if you are unable to obtain the Newport or hand-dye, I’d suggest substituting something like Schaeffer’s Laurel for similar results.

Or, you could always strike out on your own and use something different with the same gauge — but try to go with something smooth, not textured.
