The Cherry Blossom Cape is inspired by the beauty of spring as well as the need for an extra lightweight layer as the seasons change. This drapey cowl-necked capelet is elegant, soft, and understated. Textural patterns adorn the cape in two colors of fingering weight yarn.
Construction Details:
The Cherry Blossom Cape is worked in the round from the top down. There are multiple video tutorials linked in the pattern to help you with working in the round and working the different stitch patterns.

Adult Sizes: Small/Medium (Large, Extra Large)
Finished Measurements: 24 (27.5)”/60 (69)cm neck circumference, 61 (82)”/153 (205) cm bottom circumference, 21 (23)”/53 (58) cm length when laid flat. See page 7 for schematic.
Gauge: 21 sts and 30 rounds = 4”/10 cm in St-st, blocked, using size needle to obtain gauge.
Needles: Skacel by Addi US 6 (4 mm) 24”/60 cm and 32”/80 cm circular needles and US 5 (3.75 mm) 24”/60 cm circular needles or one size smaller than size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Yarn: 460 (920) yards each of two colors of Fingering weight (CYCA #1) yarn.
