What happens when you combine cherry colored yarn with a Chevron Flame stitch? You make Cherries Jubilee!

This asymmetric shawl begins with a 6 stitch CO and grows by 1 stitch on every wrong side row. It consists of a single repeating lace pattern based on chevrons but flame-like in shape. Markers are used to help keep track of pattern repeats. Because of the shifting nature of the pattern, markers need to be moved every 10 rows when the direction of the “flames” changes.

Instructions are both charted and completely written to allow for individual preferences. Charted instructions are separated into 4 sections which makes them larger and easier to use. For individual who use both chart and written instructions, correlation between the written instructions and the charts are included since each chart starts over at row 1 for each section but written instructions do not.
