Each year since 2019, I have designed a hat as a teaching tool to introduce at Michigan Fiber Festival. Each of the hats has a fiber and/or Michigan theme. The 2021 hat has a Michigan summer theme. Designed in the dark days of Covid, it reminded me of hope and summer and all the good that surrounds us. Sun, pines, Great Lakes, and cherries? I hope it makes you smile.
