This premium 13-page checkerboard pillow crochet pattern guides you from first stitch to final border with detailed written instructions, full-color photos, stitch charts, and helpful video tutorials. Create something truly special—an exquisite decorative pillow that brings warmth, texture, and timeless beauty to any space.

How This Pillow Is Made
The rose squares used in this pillow are a fresh take on the traditional Irish rose crochet motif. By working the petals in the front loops only and the following rounds in the back loops, the design achieves both a layered, dimensional look and a sturdy, cozy fabric. Choose from two techniques (invisible mattress stitch or back loop slip stitch) to join motifs in a checkerboard design. Two panels, worked in sturdy single crochet stitches, overlap at the back and fasten with buttons, making this pillow cover easy to remove for cleaning.
