Checkerboard Blanket
One time while visiting my grandma’s house in the summer, my siblings and I found a wooden checker table with two drawers that held the two different colored checker pieces. She taught us the simple game, and we spent most of our visit playing against each other for hours, mesmerized by our new skills. So how could I not include a pattern inspired by Checkers in my Fun and Games Collection?
Checkerboard Blanket is an addictive corner-2-corner crochet pattern that uses a clever method of one color per row to create the checkered look. Basic knowledge of corner-2-corner crochet is suggested. Pattern includes instructions for both a doll size and baby size blanket, as well as additional color change options.
