Chatty Shawlette
This Shawl was designed for social knitting and for new knitters that want to try something a bit more interesting. This shawlette can be completed in a weekend or a week of evenings. And Chatty Shawl comes out looking way more complicated than it is.
Instructions are for fingering yarn but include laceweight and sport weight instructions too.
Skills: k2tog, k2 togtbl, yo, learn twist sts, passover and repeats.
Needles needed are 24” - 40” circulars
Laceweight - US 5 & 6
Fingering - US 6 & 7
Sportweight - US 7 & 8
Top down Faroese Shawl begins with only 15 sts but adds 4 sts every other row to form a triangle or block it so it is a half circle. Your choice.
Tonals or solids or stiping with leftovers will look best in this garment.
$1.00 from each sale will be donated to either American Humane or HSUS
