Charlestown Cowl
The cowl is knit in a long repeat, self striping yarn. The eyelet chevron pattern is easy to memorize and looks much more complicated than it is! Beginning with a provisional cast on using waste yarn, the cowl is then knit flat, like a scarf. Use the three needle bind off to join the ends into a cowl. Want a longer cowl? Just keep on knitting until you reach your desired length! Keep in mind, additional yardage will be needed for a longer cowl.
