Charles VNeck
Charles V-Neck is named after my favorite person in the world my husband Charly.
I’ve always loved basic and simple sweaters. Both cardigans and pullovers, with all kinds of shapes and necklines.
I feel Charles is the perfect every-day sweater. Unstructured, un-fitted, easy going. The V-neck that I designed it for it is quite shallower than my usual V-neck, so you don’t have to worry about what you’re wearing underneath showing much…
This is a great Unisex pattern.
Last year, 2020, I wasn’t able to travel at all. I normally buy all the yarn I use for work during my trips, so it’s been a year of appreciation for my gorgeous stash. This sweater was designed to use up and combine some of the yarns I had at home to achieve a specific purpose. The two yarns I used are a lace and a fingering weight, in the same color, and combined they yield a gorgeous lofty fabric.
I’d love to hear if you decided to look at your stash and combine strands to achieve a lovely fabric, if you used the same yarns as I used, or if instead you went for one strand of DK or worsted. EVERYTHING WORKS!
