Charade Brioche is a build your own sweater adventure. This video class is suited to a variety of levels! The pattern comes in 10 sizes, and with the standard video sweater class you get your pattern (fully written and charted), plus over 40 lessons - hours of video instruction on Brioche, and all your sweater skills. Even if you have never knit Brioche, Patty will guide you every step of the way. You even get videos on how to convert the pattern to work in the round!

Get the Customization Bundle! When you pair the sweater class with the customization unit you will find a ton of alterations waiting for you, while your customization spread sheet does all the math! You can work the larger trim motif in the pattern or the smaller alternative chart (not in pattern). You can work the Audrey Hepburn inspired stand up neck, or a wide short turtle neck, a crew neck, or a scoop neck cowl! Work at your own gauge and let the spreadsheet do the work!

You will be guided, based on your high chest measurement, to a set of measurements with the cross-back, armhole depth, upper arm and cap set for you. From there you can tweak everything from the number of motifs (large or small) used at the hip and cuff, the fit of the waist and chest, the number of decreases to the waist front and back, the sleeve length, and more. It’s all up to you!

Not ready for customization? No problem, you can also knit the sweater as designed by following the pattern. You can always come back later and add the customization unit and grow your skills.

Needles
Size 6 US/4 mm needles or needle to achieve gauge.
Size 5 US/3.75 mm needles for hem & cuffs (or one size down from gauge needle).
Size 4 US/3.5 mm needles for hem & cuffs (or two sizes down from gauge needle).
Size 4 US/3.5mm circular needle 16”/40 cm for collar (or two sizes down from gauge needle).
