CASCARILLA JACKET

A short jacket full of imagination.
Inspired by the autumn nuts and fruits; the shells that
protect them and the time and harmony with which they
open themselves up to us to offer their fruits; the textures
they shelter and protect.

CONSTRUCTION
The jacket is worked top-down. At the shoulders and to begin the sleeves, two pleats are worked which give volume and add ease to the sleeve as you continue to work the deep yoke and finish with elbow-length sleeves. The front panels of the jacket
are finished by picking up stitches for the button band. This formfitting jacket with its button sitting high on the chest keeps your chest nice and warm and falls to the waist

MATERIAL
Yarn: Kitten DK by Socuna Troca.
Colour A ( CAFE AU LATE) : 2 ( 2, 3, 3, 4): of 100g / 225m.
Colour B ( CAFE AU LATE speckles) : 1 (1, 1, 2, 2): of 100g / 225m.
Needles: circulars of 4.5 and 5mm.
Other materials: 1 button of 0.7cm, tapestry needle for sewing, waste yarn for leaving
stitches on hold, 4 stitch markers.

GAUGE
10x10 cm – 17.5sts x 26 rows in stockinette stitch with 4.5mm needles.

CONSTRUCCIÓN
La chaqueta se teje de arriba hacia abajo, al llegar al ancho de hombros, dibuja dos pinzas al empezar las mangas, que le dan volumen y holgura a la manga, que baja mientras teje una sisa profunda para terminar de dibujar una manguita al codo.
Los delanteros del cuerpo se terminan de completar al recoger los puntos para las tapetas. Siendo en la parte superior del pecho una chaquetita a la medida de tu cuerpo, que calienta el pecho y cae hasta la cintura ganando holgura.
