Chap Spats
Chap Spats has a rather lovely ring to it, although these warm soft and statement leggings could equally be called GAITERS. These fine leg coverings could cover a boot, or if you decide to make the ribbed version, tucked into your boot for snugness and warmth.
THE INSPIRATION: late 19 Century Spanish gaiters (metal, leather and silk).
Have fun wearing them. Onwards
