This shawl is inspired by pretty fields of beautiful natural colors where our vegetal fibres sometimes grow. With its crescent shape and large amplitude it will cover your shoulder and you can wear it as a shawl or scarf depending on your mood.
This pattern is accessible to beginners, it is made in one piece in stockinette stitch with increases on each side and a large and simple textured border at the end.
It was created with the yarn Pernelle by Natissea which is a vegetal yarn made of hemp so it has little elasticity but a beautiful drape which is close to the one of silk. The pattern is also easily adaptable to any kind of yarn.
The size is completely adjustable, the pattern contains instructions to make your own modifications.

YARN Natissea Pernelle (Fingering: 100% Hemp; 219 yards (200 m) / 100 grams): 3 skeins
The approximate yardage to knit the shawl is 550 yards / 500 m.
To substitute, you can use any kind of yarn. But be careful because Pernelle is a fingering yarn knitted with 3 mm / US 2.5 needles but its yardage per skein is closer to the one of a DK yarn. If you use a more classic fingering yarn, you might need more yardage to get to the same shawl size.

Ce châle est inspiré par les jolis champs cultivés de toutes les couleurs sur lesquels poussent parfois les fibres que l’on tricote. Avec sa construction en croissant et sa grande amplitude, il enveloppera bien vos épaules pour le porter en châle ou en écharpe selon vos envies.
C’est un modèle accessible aux débutant-es, il est réalisé d’une pièce en jersey avec des augmentations de chaque côté et une large bordure texturé simple à réaliser à la fin.
Il a été créé avec le fil Pernelle de Natissea qui est un fil végétal en chanvre et a donc peu d’elasticité mais un beau drapé proche de la soie. Le modèle peut aussi facilement s’adapter à tout type de fil.
Sa taille est entièrement ajustable, des conseils sont donnés dans les instructions pour faire vos  modifications.

Le métrage nécessaire pour tricoter le châle est d’environ 500 m / 550 yards.
Pour substituer, vous pouvez utiliser tout type de fil pour tricoter ce châle. Attention toutefois au métrage car le fil Pernelle est un fingering qui se tricote en 3 mm mais son métrage correspond plutôt à celui d’un fil DK. Si vous utilisez un fil en Fingering plus classique, vous aurez donc probablement besoin d’un plus grand métrage pour atteindre la taille désirée.
