Champ de fleurs Scarf
Understated and structured, this scarf begins and ends in I-cord cloverleaf knots—simple decorative flourishes. Worked end to end in three colors, it features a quiet background punctuated by bold cross motifs in a contrasting shade. A third color appears randomly, encircling crosses to create a scattered, floral effect. The design is mirorred for an attractive appearance.
This pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit to reduce the potential for error.
CONSTRUCTION
This scarf starts with a provisional cast-on for I-cord, then a decorative knot is worked. After the knot is complete the scarf is knit flat tip to tip, followed by I-cord and a matching knot. A tiny 3 stitch graft completes the scarf. Line by line grafting instructions are INCLUDED.

YARN NOTES
Soft, drape-y yarns are a good choice as scarf will be next to your skin. Select yarns colors that complement one another yet are not too close in value.
Avoid highly variegated yarn as it will obscure the colorwork pattern.

Tapestry/blunt yarn needle
12” scrap yarn in contrasting color (provisional cast-on)
Locking stitch marker
