NOTES
- Due to the extensive sizing, please read through the pattern and highlight the instructions that apply to the chosen size.
- About the yarn – Lorna’s Laces “Solemate” includes elements of the most popular sock yarns (merino, nylon) and combines them with a temperature-regulating viscose fibre called Outlast. This creates the drape and softness that a garment like Chambourcin requires to be elegantly fitted yet avoiding the feeling of tightness that could arise from a negative ease sweater.
- Other recommended yarns – blends of wool with at least 20% of bamboo, silk, tencel or viscose, for added drape, smooth stitching and year-round wear.
Notes on gauge
- The garment’s shaping is created by the change of needle sizes at different intervals. Please read the pattern carefully to see where the applicable size changes and how many times it happens.
Construction
Worked flat, in pieces. Stitches are picked up around neck and back area for hood. Neckline is picked up around hood and v-neck for hood’s edging. Set-in sleeves.
