Designed by Janel Karrle for the 2023 Sierra Nevada Yarn Crawl. Chain of leaves mimics the beautiful colors of foliage we see in the Sierra Nevada Foothills late September.

SIZE: Adult

YARN: Malabrigo Rios (worsted weight yarn ) in two contrasting colors; approximately 90g for color A and 30g for color B

HOOK: US Size H-8 (5 mm)

PATTERN NOTES:

1. The cowl is worked in multiples of 7. If you want to lengthen or shorten it, add or subtract 7.
2. The beginning chains count as the first stitch unless otherwise stated.
3. Do not skip a stitch after the ch 1. Work your dc into the next stitch.
4. You will skip the ch 1 sp from the previous row. Work your dc into the next st after the ch 1 sp.
5. Carry your nonworking color, then cut color B after you complete your last row of sc of that color.
