Cervo Kerchief - Knit Pattern Only
DESCRIPTION
The Cervo Kerchief is a beautifully simple design inspired by the small seaside town of Cervo, Italy. The ancient town of Cervo is perched on top of a hill along the Italian Riviera overlooking the Ligurian Sea. The town rises up from the sea with windows dotting the entire panorama. I tried to recreate that effect with the tiny button stitches across the kerchief. This versatile shawlette is perfect for the transition of seasons when you need a little extra warmth, be it on your head or around you neck. Hope you enjoy!
SKILLS
This includes an advanced beginner level knitting pattern. The kerchief is knit flat from the top down. The techniques involved are knit, purl, k2tog, ssk, and the estonian button stitch (instructions are given). All Frosia Knits patterns are written in standard US terms.
You will need 1 skein of Lion Brand Truboo Light Weight Yarn (100% bamboo). Each skein is 241 yds (220 m). You will need about 239 yds (219 m) to complete one kerchief. You can easily substitute any light weight bamboo yarn just make sure to check your gauge.
