Knitted lace doily with a central portion of radiating linear leaves, and surrounded by eight separately knitted circular floral (resembling dahlias) motifs, finished with two rounds of crocheted chains. Flower chart has 28 rounds, center chart has 63 rounds.
The eight flowers are each knitted center-out with seven repeats, with the outer edge finished off on four repeats, and the remaining three repeats held with live stitches. The live stitches from the eight motifs are then put on the needles and the center is knitted inward from them. There is patterning every round on the central portion.
