NOTE - I have made the decision to archive this pattern. I wasn’t vegan when I wrote this pattern, but I am now and I no longer feel comfortable promoting the use of animal fiber, which was used in the original design. Keep an eye out for some fresh designs using plant based fibers!

An intricate celtic cable runs through the middle of this bag from front to back, and it is framed by two panels of eyelet lattice stitch for a touch of lace. A garter stitch flap with 3 button closure and an i cord strap complete the bag. The entire bag was designed to be knit at a tighter gauge in order to produce a firmer fabric and a sturdier, more durable bag.

Finished bag is approximately 9.5 in. wide by 6 in. tall.
