This is a simple hat with beautiful cable pattern in the shape of a heart. The idea of this pattern came to my mind when I was preparing for Saint Valentine’s day and hearts were everywhere! And all of a sudden I realized how great it would be to comibe love and knitting together.

Sizing: 21,5-23’’ (55-58 cm)

Yarn: Lana Stella Rebus NM 1700 (Aran/4 ply, 100% merino wool, 93 yds/1,76 oz (85 m/50 gr).

Yardage: 215 yds.

Needles: US6 (4,0 mm) circular needles, US6 (4,0 mm) double pointed needles.

Gauge: 24 sts x 32 rows = 4 x 4’’ (10 x 10 cm) in rib 2 x 2 not stretched.

Other notions: cable needle, stitch markers, for pompom: a piece of fur, a sewing needle, thread, rib, holofiber.
