NEEDLES
US 10 / 6 mm circular needles or DPNs.

NOTIONS
Stitch markers, an extra needle in a similar size for 3-needle bind-off.

NOTES
These slippers are worked from the toe to the heel. They are worked in the round up to the ankle and then flat to create an opening for the foot. The back of the heel is closed with a 3-needle bind-off and finally, a reverse stockinette stitch edge is worked flat for the foot opening.

The needles are smaller than usual for a yarn of this weight. This is so that the fabric created becomes really dense. That, together with the slipped-stitch pattern, creates a thick and sturdy fabric.
