Celestite
Celestite is a cardigan worked from the top down in one piece with raglan shaping. Increases at the front sides add shape and make the fronts slightly wider at the bottom of the piece. The collar is picked up and simple short rows are worked to shape it. The collar may be worn folded back or with an optional button closure.
Finished Measurements: 32 ¼ (36, 39 ¾, 43 ¼, 47, 50 ½, 54 ¼, 57 ¾, 60 ¾)” circumference at bust, open.
Materials:
Fingering Silky Merino by Sundara (50% silk, 50% merino; 150 gram skein = approx 500 yards)
• 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3) skeins, color Grand Canal of Venice
• Approx yards needed: 655 (720, 785, 850, 910, 980, 1050, 1120, 1175) yards
Needles
• Body: One 29” circular (cir) needle size US 5 (3.75 mm). (Piece is worked back and forth, in rows, circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of sts)
• Collar: One 40” cir needle size US 5 (3.75 mm).
• Sleeves: One set of double pointed needles (dpns) size US 5 (3.75 mm).

Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch. Take time to save time, check your gauge
