MATERIALS: —

PATONS BEEHIVE Fingering, 2-ply “Patonised” — Shrink-Resist Finish

Quantities:

  • A - 4.5 ozs. (127.6 g)

  • B - 5 ozs. (141.8 g)

  • “Parfrey” Knitting Needles, 1 pair each, Nos. 11 (3 mm) and 12 (2.75 mm), measured on a Beehive Needle Gauge.

  • A “Parfrey” Crochet Hook, No. 13 (2.25 mm)

  • Knitted shoulder pads (instructions for them given in the same source).

  • Five small buttons.

MEASUREMENTS:

To fit: A - 32-33 inch (81 - 84 cm) bust; B - 35-36 inch (89-91.5 cm) bust
Length from top of shoulder: Both sizes - 19 ins (48.26 cm)
Length of sleeve from underarm: Both sizes - 5.5 ins. (13.97 cm)

TENSION: To get these measurements it is absolutely necessary to work at a tension to produce 5 patterns to 2.5 inches (6.35 cm) in width
