Cedar Creek
PDF file updated 6/4/16 to include the following errata information. :)
NOTE: There is a mistake in the written instructions for rows 4, 6, and 8 in all three sections of the pattern. If you follow the charts, all is well; this correction only applies to the written instructions.
At the end of rows 4, 6, and 8…
Row 4 - …SM, k6, yo, (k2tog, yo) twice, k4.
Row 6 - …SM, k5, yo, (k2tog, yo) three times, k4.
Row 8 - …SM, k4, yo, (k2tog, yo) four times, k4.
This will hold true in all three sections.
Again, the charts are correct; the error only shows in the written instructions.
This pattern was originally published as Pearl Fiber Arts’ contribution to the 2016 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 3 – 6, 2016 in Portland, Oregon.
Each shop’s pattern(s) will be available free with purchase at that shop during the Rose City Yarn Crawl.
All patterns will also be available for download individually or as part of our 2016 eBook: Oregon Grows Great Things: 2016 Rose City Yarn Crawl Pattern Collection.
Oregonians love trees and we grow them well. This pattern uses three different textures in lace to represent the forest. Straight lines of tree trunks give way to cones and leaves. Whether you make the small, scarf version or opt for the larger, shawl rendition, we hope it will wrap you in the warmth and tranquility an Oregon forest inspires.
