Cécile mittens is Hélène Magnússon‘s new take on the traditional mittens from Skagafjördur: “I reinterpreted the traditional flowerpot motif in long-armed cross stitch as a fantasy embroidery.” The pattern comes into 7 sizes, children and adultes. It is called Cécile after a popular French embroiderer who came in one of The Icelandic Knitter’s knitting tours in Iceland.
