Level of Difficulty:
This is a Beginner/Easy pattern. It assumes beginner level knowledge of basic crochet stitches, and provides a full photo tutorial for the unique yet simple herringbone construction. Chart and schematics are also included.
Materials:
Size 3/Light worsted/DK yarn (Comfy Cotton in Spectrum and Flower Garden used)
5mm (USH) crochet hook
2 x stitch markers
yarn needle
scissors
Tassel maker (or small hardback book for DIY tassel -full tutorial privided) - Optional
Yardage:
Main Color: 365 yds / 334m
Contrast Color: 325 yds / 296m
Tassels (each): 18 yds / 16m
Gauge: (worked flat)
15 sts x 8 rows = 4” (10cm) in dc - lightly steam blocked.
Finished measurements:
Wingspan: 54in / 138cm
Length (to point): 30in / 76cm
Pattern contains printer-friendly row tracker at end of document to help you mark off your progress as you go, in addition to space for any notes you might want to make during your project. (We’ve all put that pattern to one side for a while and forgotten which hook we were using!)
