This pattern was originally designed exclusively for the TFA Year In Colour Club, January 2014, featuring the custom colour ‘Orchid’ in Tanis Fiber Arts Blue Label Fingering Weight yarn.

My goal for this sock design was to create something incredibly beautiful, while being deceptively simple. A pattern whose whole is much greater than the sum of its parts. I chose a few simple 4 row lace patterns, put them together and voila! A pattern fancy enough to impress your friends, but simple enough to memorize easily and knit quickly.
