Technique:
Overlay Mosaic Crochet with slanted stitches: each round is made with one color and consists of single crochet in the back loop (sc blo) and double crochet in the front loop (dc flo)

Stitches:
In addition to vertical dc, I also use slanted dc and extended dc (made one or two stitches back or forward), decreases, increases, and occasionally, front post stitches (there is a video and explanation for all stitches)

Materials and Tools:

• Fingering/ 4ply yarn such as: Scheepjes Whirlette (60% Cotton x 40% Acrylic, 100g/ 455m/ 497.6yds)

• Crochet hooks 3.5mm (neck band foundation), 3mm (bottom band foundation, body), 2.75mm (bottom band), 2.5mm (last 2 rounds of neck band)
