Catherine Wheel Scarf
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Catherine Wheel is a simple stitch pattern that looks complicated. When worked in alternating colors of two rows each, it gives a floral tapestry effect. This scarf is worked lengthwise in six colors of yarn and finished off with a single crochet and slip stitch border. Make it longer or shorter by adjusting the foundation chain in multiples of 10 sts; make it wider by adding another color.
Requires about 85 yds each of six colors of yarn.
Gauge: 1 wheel measures 1-1/2 inches across.
NB: This pattern is written in American crochet terms.
