Catbells is a delightfully straightforward sock design. The textured cable pattern results in very pleasing lines that appear to move diagonally across the foot.
The cuff down design is worked with a traditional heel flap and gusset and is easy to adapt in terms of length - further pattern repeats may be added as required. Additional width may also be added at the sides - by working extra rib stitches to fit a slightly wider foot.
The unisex cable pattern and flexible repeats make it an ideal sock for gift knitting.
