About the Pattern: My neighbor & friend, Kasia, asked me to make a blanket for her using this beautiful shade of yarn. This color reminds us of autumn and various spices, including cinnamon. The Greek word for cinnamon, is “Cassia.” How perfectly fitting that it is so close to my neighbor Kasia’s name! We agreed it was meant-to-be. 

This simple and gorgeous texture is created using only half-double crochet throughout.

Finished Size: Sample blanket measured approx. 70” x 50”. Pattern is written so you may make it to any desired dimensions.

Materials: You may use yarn and hook of choice with excellent results. Sample blanket used…
• Lion Brand hue + me bulky weight 80% acrylic, 20% wool yarn in color Spicy – approx. 2,400 yards
• Crochet hook size N/P (10.0 mm)
