The Cascade Mountain is a peak in the Bow River Valley in sight of the beautiful town of Canmore in Alberta, Canada. It’s named after the waterfall that cascades down its southern flanks; just like the all-over knit and purl pattern seems to cascade down the socks I knitted for my friend Eryn, who I had the pleasure to meet during my visit to Canmore.

The sock pattern, which is knitted from the top down and features heel flap and gusset, comes in two sizes to fit leg circumference:
M - 7.5” (18.75 cm) and L - 9” (22.5 cm)
Leg length and foot length are adjustable.

You can choose to work the textured pattern either from the
charts or the written instructions.

The Cascade Mountain pattern is also available as part of the (No longer virtual) Friends eBook.

Please note:
There is a special collaboration for this collection with the very talented indie dyer SpinningFates, who dyed special colourways for each pattern included in the collection. Check out her Etsy shop here and receive a discount code for the pattern(s) with any purchase. The offer is valid as long as supplies last.
