Sock knitters have LOTS of opinions, so this pattern is all about making your mapped socks to suit what you want to remember: make them toe up or cuff down, 2 at-a-time or solo socks, with dpns or by magic loop, and/or add contrasting heels/toes/cuffs.

An Afterthought Heel is recommended so that your map is minimally interrupted, but this pattern will work with any heel of choice.
