Carpe Diem Cowl

Der Cowl wird zunächst provisorisch angeschlagen. In Runden und glatt rechts gestrickt zieren schräg verlaufende, schmale Zöpfchen diesen kuschelig warmen Winterbegleiter. Sobald der Cowl die entsprechende Länge erreicht hat, werden die Maschen zunächst stillgelegt. Danach wird der provisorische Anschlag aufgelöst, um einen I-Cord zu arbeiten. Abschließend wird die Arbeit doppelt gelegt, um die verbliebenen Maschen unterhalb des I-Cords anzunähen.

The cowl is first cast on provisionally. Knitted in rounds and stockinet-te stitch, narrow diagonal cables adorn this cozy, warm winter com-panion. Once the cowl has reached the desired length, the stitches are first put on hold. Then the provisional cast-on is removed to work an I-cord. Finally, the work is folded in half to sew the remaining stitches below the I-cord.
