Carnival Shawl
This fabulous shawl is crocheted using Plump DK. It is a shallow semicircle measuring 160cm by 45cm high.
The design uses a mixture of linen stitch and popcorns to create stripes and bobbles. It’s lots of fun to make and there are endless possibilities for colour combos!
You’ll need Plump DK in the following quantities:
Main Colourway MC (above) (Blues): Bonbon (A) – 3 skeins, Slushy (B) – 3 skeins, one skein each of the other four colours - Bubblegum (C), Pavlova (D), Blueberry Muffin (E), Raspberry Ripple (F).
Multi Colour (below): Liquorice (A) – 3 skeins, Darjeeling (B) – 3 skeins, one skein each of the other six colours - Marshmallow (C), Cherry Pie (D), Lemon curd (E), Bonbon (F), Fondant Fancy (G), Slushy (H)
4.5mm crochet hook (NB. I am a loose crocheter so use a larger hook if your tension is tighter)
