Iris, the incredible fiber colorist of Artyarns, took inspiration from a photograph taken in Carmel. She created this beautiful new color and made it one of her Inspirations color in January of 2022.

Carmel by the Sea offers easy stitches and a soft draped raglan which adds style and easy wearability. The glimmer and sparkle cascades around the neck and edge trim, in Beaded Silk & Sequins Light.

First, you work the front and back in pieces, then the 2 sleeves. All pieces are then joined in the round to create the yoke/raglan portion.

Needles needed: US 6/4 mm & US 7/4.5 mm

Gauge: 24 st and 32 rows = 4” (slightly steamed) in Check Pattern stitch on US 7/4.5 mm
