For sometime I had wanted something special to wear to events like Christmas parties. When I saw this yarn arrive in our yarn shop I knew this would be perfect for what I had in mind.

This is an elegant lacey shawl has 760 hex glass beads catch the light adding a bit more glimmer to the shawl and a little extra weight when added to the hems. Beads, of course, are optional.

Back of shawl is contructed using german short rows that enable shawl to caress your shoulders and lay flat - stays put without the use of a shawl pin (perfect for gatherings where you don’t want to be fidgeting with your shawl).

Back is worked from written instructions, with directions and a link for german short rows. Lace panels are charted. Pattern includes directions for working from a chart. The length of shawl can be easily adjusted by adding or subtracting chart repeats.

Shawl measures 39”/99cm from center back to end, 78”/198cm overall length, and 14”/36cm wide after blocking.
