Colour blocking and stranded colourwork combine on this modern cardigan from Chloé Elizabeth Birch. The drop-shoulder design has bands of colourwork leaves around the body and lower sleeves. Stitches are picked up around the front pieces to work a narrow edging, which incorporates button loops.

For her design, Chloé has used Fable, the new yarn from West Yorkshire Spinners which blends Falkland wool with British alpaca and mohair.
