Travesía hace referencia a un viaje, a mi propio viaje en el mundo del diseño.

Hace algunos años, cuando aún no pensaba en diseñar me tejí un top sencillo y rápido en algodón. Con el tiempo resultó ser una prenda versátil y cómoda que utilizo todos los veranos y en los cambios de estación.

Tiempo después empecé a diseñar y rápidamente apareció este tejido en mi mente como una prenda a la que darle vida y un diseño a compartir con el mundo. Nació el Top Travesía

Y luego, nació su hermano: este Cárdigan, holgado e ideal para utilizar en media estación como un complemento y un abrigo.

CONSTRUCCIÓN

Es un cárdigan tipo boxy con una holgura positiva de 18 a 20 cm. Se trabaja en plano, de abajo hacia arriba. Primero se realiza el cuerpo, tejiendo al mismo tiempo espalda y delanteros como una sola pieza. Al separar cuerpo y mangas se continúan espalda y delantero en plano, por separado.

A lo largo de todo el tejido repetirás un patrón sencillo de punto correteado o bobo, calados y puntos estirados, que memorizarás muy fácilmente. En la pretina, puños y banda incorpora un punto de pequeñas trenzas o nudos, que enmarcará todo el diseño.

Al terminar la prenda unirás los hombros con un cierre de tres agujas.

Luego de trabajar el canesú, retomarás los puntos de las mangas y las trabajarás en circular, pudiendo tomar la decisión de si hacerlas largas o manga tres cuartos.

Para finalizar, y recogerás puntos a en los laterales de los delanteros para construir la banda.

1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) que corresponden a una circunferencia del busto de la prenda de 93 (103, 113, 123, 133) (143, 153, 163, 173) cm

MEDIDAS

Las medidas han sido tomadas después de bloquear la prenda terminada. Se sugiere usar esta prenda con una holgura positiva de 18 a 20 cm alrededor del busto.

HILADO

100% lana merino no superwash de Tejedora Chile , 400 m por cada madeja de 100 g.

Metraje: Utilizarás aproximadamente 1200 (1350, 1480, 1600, 1740) (100. 2045, 2200, 2360) m.

Gramaje: Utilizarás aproximadamente 300 (340, 370, 400, 435) (475, 512, 550, 590) g.

Estas cantidades de hilado han sido calculadas para las medidas indicadas en la tabla de medidas. Si quieres hacer mangas más largas o el cuerpo más corto, deberás consideralo a la hora de calcular el hilado necesario.

AGUJAS

Agujas circulares de 3.5 mm o el grosor necesario para alcanzar la muestra de tensión (con cable de al menos 80 cm de largo y un cable corto para las mangas)

Agujas circulares de 3.0 mm o 0.5 mm menos que las agujas más grandes para utilizar en pretina, puños y banda.

3 agujas de doble punta de 3.5 mm para el cierre de 3 agujas.

MUESTRA

19 pts x 48 Fs = 10x10 cm, tejida en punto jersey en plano con agujas de 3.5 mm o el grosor necesario para obtener la muestra medida después de bloquear

El patrón viene con instrucciones muy detalladas y algunos tutoriales para explicarte los puntos y técnicas que requerirás. Es una prenda muy fácil de realizar, ideal para trabajar en ella mentras ves una serie o película o conversas con amigos.

“Travesía” refers to a journey, to my own journey in the world of design.

A few years ago, when I wasn’t even thinking about designing, I knitted a simple and quick cotton top. Over time, it turned out to be a versatile and comfortable garment that I use every summer and during seasonal transitions.

Some time later, I started designing and this knitted piece quickly came to mind as a garment to breathe life into and a design to share with the world. Thus, the Travesía Top was born.
And then, its sibling was born: this Cardigan, loose-fitting and ideal for wearing in the transitional seasons as both a complement and a coat.

CONSTRUCTION

It’s a boxy-style cardigan with a positive ease of 18 to 20 cm. It is worked flat, from the bottom up. First, the body is worked, simultaneously knitting the back and fronts as one piece. After separating the body and sleeves, the back and fronts are continued flat, separately.

Throughout the entire knit, you’ll repeat a simple pattern of garter stitch, eyelets, and elongated stitches, which you’ll easily memorize. In the hem, cuffs, and band, incorporate a stitch pattern of small cables or knots, which will frame the entire design.

Upon completing the garment, you’ll join the shoulders using a three-needle bind off.

After working the yoke, you’ll pick up stitches for the sleeves and work them in the round, deciding whether to make them long or three-quarter length.

Finally, you’ll pick up stitches along the sides of the fronts to construct the band.

1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) corresponds to a bust circumference of the garment of 93 (103, 113, 123, 133) (143, 153, 163, 173) cm.

The following measurements have been taken after blocking the finished garment. It is suggested to wear this garment with a positive ease of 18 to 20 cm around the bust.

YARN

100% non-superwash merino wool from Tejedora Chile, 400 m per 100 g skein.

Yardage: You’ll use approximately 1200 (1350, 1480, 1600, 1740) (1900, 2045, 2200, 2360) m.

Grammage: You’ll use approximately 300 (340, 370, 400, 435) (475, 512, 550, 590) g.

These yarn quantities have been calculated for the measurements indicated in the measurement chart. If you want to make longer sleeves or a shorter body, you should take it into account when calculating the necessary yarn.

NEEDLES

Circular needles of 3.5 mm or the necessary size to achieve gauge (with a cable of at least 80 cm long and a short cable for the sleeves).

Circular needles of 3.0 mm or 0.5 mm smaller than the larger needles to use for the hem, cuffs, and band.

3 DPNs of 3.5 mm for the three-needle bind off.

GAUGE

19 stitches x 48 rows = 10x10 cm, knitted in stockinette stitch flat with 3.5 mm needles or the necessary size to obtain the gauge measured after blocking.
