Great vintage knitting pattern ladies cardigan 1940s. This is another gem from the war years. Nice wide rib bands, deep welt, well shaped cardigan in a simple broken cable pattern. To fit 34-36 inch, 36-38 inch and 38-40 inch bust. Vintage 4ply is suggested to perhaps try modern 4ply in a tension square and see if you need to change needles or even use double knitting to get a better fit.
