Cardamome is a colorwork v-neck cardigan. It’s knitted seamlessly in the round from the top-down. At the end, it’s steeked to form a cardigan. This garment can be worn as a coat during fall and spring and as a cardigan during winter. It’s the perfect project to use a rustic yarn.

XS (S, M1, M2, L1, L2) (XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).
Bust circumference of the finished garment: 36 (38½, 41¼, 44, 46½, 49¼) (52, 54½, 57¼, 60, 62½) ‘’ / 91 (98, 105, 112, 118, 125) (132. 138, 145, 152, 159) cm.

Shown in size XS with 5’’ / 13 cm of positive ease.
Choose a size with 4’’ to 6’’ / 10 to 15 cm of positive ease.

Please note that sizes 4XL and 5XL have unfortunately not been tested because I could not find any tester. If you want to knit one of these sizes, please contact me. I will be happy to send you the pattern.

Gauge
18 sts and 24 rows = 4’’ x 4’’ or 10 cm x 10 cm in stockinette st, with 5 mm / US 8 needles, after blocking.

Yarn
Winfield by Sweet Paprika, 100 % canadian yarn, 224 m / 110 g.

• Main color: Northen Sky, 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5) (6, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins or approximatively 715 (755, 835, 920, 1000, 1040) (1180, 1255, 1345, 1385, 1485) m of worsted weight yarn.
• Contrasting color 1: Sugar Maple, 1 skein or approximatively 60 (70, 70, 80, 90, 90) (100, 115, 125, 125, 135) m of worsted weight yarn.
• Contrasting color 2: Fog, 1 skein or approximatively 40 (50, 50, 60, 60) (70, 70, 80, 80, 90) m of worsted weight yarn.

Needles and accessories
5 mm / US 8 and 4 mm / US 6 circular knitting needles.
Stitch markers and tapestry needle.
6-8 buttons of approximatively 17 mm.

Cardamome est un cardigan au jacquard avec une encolure en V. Il se tricote en rond, du haut vers le bas. Il est ensuite coupé par un « steek » pour former un cardigan. Ce vêtement peut se porter comme un manteau léger à l’automne et au printemps ou comme un cardigan pendant l’hiver. C’est le projet idéal pour mettre en valeur une laine rustique.

Le modèle est tricoté dans la taille XS et est porté avec 5 po / 13 cm
d’aisance positive.
Choisir une taille mesurant 4 à 6 po / 10 à 15 cm de plus que votre tour de poitrine.

Prenez note que je n’ai malheureusement pas pu trouver de testeurs pour les tailles 4XL et 5XL. Si vous souhaitez tricoter l’une de ces tailles, contactez moi SVP. Il me fera plaisir de vous offrir le patron.
