CaraCowl is an oversized cowl that can be snuggled over your shoulders as a capelet. Knit in super bulky yarn, it can easily be finished in a weekend, and feels like you are wearing a hug.

It uses three colors- full skeins of colors 1 and 2, and just under half a skein of color 3 (based on typical 90-yard super bulky skeins and a gauge of 7 stitches and 10 rows over 4”). Gauge will definitely change your yarn requirements, so if you are unsure if you’ll have enough, please swatch!

Caracowl is knit in the round from the top down, with a pretty stitch detail at the top that pulls it a little bit tighter to keep it from falling down off your shoulders.

Choose similar colors for a monochromatic gradient, or go wild and crazy with bold statement colors. The possibilities are endless!
