The Capitol Market Bag can be crocheted in a weekend with chains, hdc and dc stitches.

Materials:
Caron Cotton Cakes yarn (colors: hydrangea and white)
Size J/ 6 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Scissors
Size: approximately 15” h x 14” w (not including handles)
Gauge: 12 hdc = 4”

The Capitol Market Bag was inspired by a doily I purchased at a rummage sale. I thought the stitch would be great for a market bag. After a futile search through my crochet stitch books, I did an image search on Google and found success -- the Capitol Stitch.
