This pattern is for a very easy-to-knit yet very satisfying capelet. The final garment drapes beautifully, sits nicely on the shoulders, leaves the lower arms/hands free to function nicely… a shawl pin is necessary to fasten the capelet nicely. It can be knit in almost any weight yarn, provided that the knitter allows for more stitches (stating the obvious) on the lighter-weight yarn. It can also be knitted to a greater length if desired.
