Canna Baby Jacket
This design is named after the smallest of the three Hebridean Islands just off the west coast of Scotland, near to Morar, an incredibly beautiful and unspoilt area with miles of white sandy beaches.
The jacket is a quick and simple knit in garter stitch and stocking stitch. It is knitted straight to the empire waistline, and then a decrease row gathers it in slightly to create a slight A-line shape.
It is fastened with three wooden buttons and has raglan sleeves. The pattern is written in three sizes, 6 - 12 months, 12 - 24 months and 24 - 36 months, Chest 53.5(58.5, 63.5)cm/21(23, 25)in and uses 4(5, 6) 50g balls of Libby Summers Chunky.
The sizes are generous and should fit the extremes of the age brackets. Width (Underarm): 26(29, 33) cm/101⁄4(111⁄2, 13)in
Length (back neck to bottom edge): 30(36, 40)cm/12(14, 153⁄4) in
Sleeve length: 28(36, 39)cm/11 (14, 151⁄4)in
