Candy Socks
by kraftling
Socks so cute you’ll want to eat them up. These mid-calf socks have an afterthought heel, which makes it easy to keep the pattern going. The main colour for these socks is the scrumptious Snowfall, a Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock yarn, and bits of similarly weighted bright colours from my stash of old sock yarns.
YARN
- MC: Sweet Georgia’s Tough Love Sock in Snowfall, 1 skein (425 yds).
- CCs: Less than a ball of sock weight yarn in each pink, yellow, green, blue, and red (about 50 yds of each is required to complete both socks).
NEEDLES
2.25 mm set of 4 double-pointed needles (or size required to obtain gauge).
GAUGE
28 sts x 36 rows = 4”
MEASUREMENTS/SIZING
S/M/L/XL (width around foot = 6-7”/7-9”/9-11”/11-13”). Length of sock is knitted to individual foot requirement.
OTHER MATERIALS REQUIRED
Stitch marker, embroidery needle, waste yarn
